Traditional courses have tended to promote individual study and research rather than teamwork. However, the ability to 'Work with Others' is one of the key skills looked for by employers and, increasingly, by institutions of higher education. For this reason, some universities are building more team and group project work into their programmes. Whether this is happening on your programme or not, it is well worth you creating opportunities to develop your inter-personal skills.
